An easy guide to what is/should be done by your Committee.

Committee members can, and are expected to, organise others to help them carry out their duties. e.g.The Race Director nominates a small group to help arrange the Oldbury 10 event.

*CHAIRMAN: Arthur Renshaw Holds the ring at Committee meetings. A point of contact for any Club Member with grievances or ideas for improvement - or anything really! Looks after CTK Social Club Administration. Makes any General announcements to the Membership.

*VICE-CHAIRMAN: Paul Nutting Stands-in for the Chairman when he is not available. No specific responsibilities.

*SECRETARY: Dave Andrews Guardian of the Club Rules & Regulations. Tells Committee what should or should not be done as per the Constitution. Records all Committee decisions. Main Club contact with the outside world - for correspondence. Arranges AGM. Keeps a note on the 'assets' of the Club (equipment etc.)

*TREASURER: Jon Greenwood Looks after the Finances - Accounts for all income & expenditure. Holds the Cheque Book very tightly, pays invoices etc. Accounts for Annual membership income specifically (who has paid and who has not!).

CLUB CAPTAIN: Mark Williams Responsible for the Athletic performance of the Club! Tuesdays, hursdays and Sunday Groups & routes arrange. Shepherds runners on Club Nights. Sorts out any warm-ups/exercises. Sorts out Club entries for London. Manages Club Relay events - Welsh Castles, Cotswold Way etc.

VICE-CAPTAIN: Jimmy Gill Assists the Captain - particularly on Groups & routes - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.

SOCIAL SECRETARY: Pete Mainstone Plans & organises all Social Events inc. Annual Dinner and w/ends away. (Objective is to have something about once a Month) Assisted by Arthur Renshaw.

RACE DIRECTOR: Nick Langridge All arrangements for annual road races - Entry Forms, publicity (Rundown Diary & other Clubs) Race permits, Police etc. Plus Results. Also looks after all Race equipment. Liaise with Phil Holland. (local expert with connections & measuring skills) Primarily organises Oldbury 10 and Sundayshill 10K events with the assistance of a "Race Committee".

SAFETY OFFICER: Chris Pearce
Oversees all aspects of Club activity from the "safety" perspective. Specific responsibility for Risk Assessment for the TRC organised events.
